First driving lesson-what to expect
Getting behind the wheel for your first driving lesson might seem quite daunting, but do not worry, no one is expecting you to drive off into a busy road the first time you get behind the wheel.
it is normal to be nervous ahead of your first driving lesson.
how to prepare for your first driving lesson?
For your first driving lesson, it is important to bring your provisional driving licence with you. your GBN driving instructor will ask you for this document and will need to see it before he/she is legally allowed to give you any driving licence.
Dress for success
it is also important to make sure you have dressed appropriately for your first driving lesson. this is mainly for your choice of footwear. having comfortable, flat sole shoes is advised to take many driving lesson.
Remember your glasses
your driving instructor must insure that your eyesight is in line with the minimum Driving Standard Agency eyesight standards and might ask you to read a near by vehicle registration number plate before the driving lesson can go any further, the distance of the vehicle has to be 20.5 meters away.
intensive driving course
If you are looking to pass your driving test in a short period, then intensive course is the right thing for you. Learning to drive can be time-consuming often taking months to be test ready, taking a more intensive program in learning to drive can help you pass in a matter of weeks with GBN Driving School instructors.

how long is an intensive driving course?
there are no rules to how long an intensive course should take to complete.as with conventional lessons, the length of time taken to be ready to take your test depends on your ability behind the wheel. every leaner driver is different.
as part of your first lesson, your GBN Driving instructor will evaluate your driving ability and confidence to measure how long your intensive course is likely to take.
